We understand that the world of content creation, web design, and online marketing can be incredibly overwhelming. Thus, we will endeavour to anticipate and answer as many questions as possible for your convenience.
If you can’t quite find what you are looking for, don’t stress; simply contact us and we will tell you all you need to know.
A Press Release is a journalistic piece of writing that reports specific information about an upcoming event, a new product, or any other note-worthy subject. Typically, a press release is related to a specific business or organisation and is submitted to various PR outlets with the hopes of being picked up by the media.
Of course, the media doesn’t run with every press release that is submitted. Unless you have something earthshattering to say or you are promoting an event that may benefit the community, though a press release is an incredibly valuable tool regardless.
A well-written press release is effective from an SEO perspective, particularly if you produce them regularly (where appropriate), given that any high-quality content related to your business builds relevance and credibility for your brand.
Even if your press release doesn’t set the world alight, there’s still a good chance that it may be picked up by bloggers or Twitter and will surely reach your target audience regardless.
Absolutely. We understand that just as content writing is time consuming, so too is the implementation of the finished product. (After all, it’s what we do!)
If you would like to free yourself of this burden then we are more than happy to take control of your blog and regularly update it as agreed upon.
Of course, this will mean that we will need full access to the back end of your blog or website so that we will be able to do so. This naturally poses a potential risk on your part, placing your trust in a young agency with which you have never dealt before.
There is only so much we can do to alleviate your concerns, though we assure you that we will do anything required to secure your faith – even if it means signing a non-disclosure agreement.
We are willing to place our mark on any law-binding document, stating that we promise to keep your details safe and secure. And of course, we will naturally run all of the relevant content by you first, for your approval before uploading anything to your website.
The only question that we ask is: what could we possibly gain from compromising your details or sabotaging your website? There are many dickheads in this world, though we do not count ourselves among them.
We are Feel Content and so should you.
As a collective we have a wealth of experience in the writing arena. Most of us share an interest in creative writing and have had several publications; though with regards to technical writing and content development you can view some of the industries we have written for, below:
And much, much more. We pride ourselves in being flexible writers and are always up for a challenge. If you don’t see your industry listed above then don’t fear; it doesn’t mean that we will be unable to pull it off. In fact, we’ve never had an unsatisfied client so get in touch if you’re interested in our services.
A Ghost Writer is essentially someone who writes and produces content on someone else’s behalf who is then named the author. For example if you would like us to handle your blog posts, in your voice or that of your business but would like to take full credit for it then that’s the agreement we will arrange.
Not at all.
If you are a small business and can only afford one or two blog posts a month then we will be more than happy to assist you. It’s up to you how much content you want and you can adjust this whenever you like.
Although we do reserve the right to decline work at any point, we never have.
However, should we have to turn down your content request, it could be for one of several different reasons:
Again, we’ve never refused work, though if for whatever reason we are unable to work with you we will be entirely honest with you.
Before any money changes hands we will engage in a detailed and open dialogue with you to properly understand your needs. If in the event that you would like to proceed with our services then we will require a 50% advance before we begin the work.
As I’m sure you can appreciate, we need assurances just as you do. For more information please look at our How it Works page.
During our workflow, you will be given a chance to review our work before the final payment is due. If you would like to make a few minor changes then no. We understand that there may be a certain phrase or paragraph that you don’t think fits well with the message that you’re trying to convey, in which case we’d be more than happy to make amendments.
If for whatever reason, we’ve agreed on something before hand and then you change your mind and would like something entirely different, it would depend on what stage the work was at. If we have not yet begun work on your content then we would happily renegotiate the work you require. But if work on your content was already underway you would have to pay for both the original item and the fresh content – but we have never encountered this before.
Provided that you are open with us and tell us exactly what it is that you are looking for, then there will be no cause for concern. We’re very good at what we do and you can rest assured that you will be satisfied with the end product.
Yes, absolutely.
As soon as we’ve sent the content over to you and you’ve paid for our services, it’s all yours do with as you see fit.
In the case that we’re link building for you, we can send over the original document, though we’d advise that you not post it anywhere else. We will provide you with evidence that the link as been created, so that you know the work has been completed. But if you were to try and duplicate this content, Google could penalise you for it and the original link will lose all credibility.
By regularly blogging or publishing articles on your site and other reputable websites, your business will benefit from the following:
We can normally turn around content very quickly, though this is something that will need to be expressed and agreed upon before work commences.
Naturally we are very busy and work is handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. That being said; certain clients may have more time than others, so we can prioritise those who need a fast turn-around, without compromising our work for those with more flexibility.
Yes, absolutely. We have had plenty of experience in the Search Engine Optimisation industry and our team are fully aware of how it works. All of the content that we will develop will be written in an SEO friendly way, though with a primary focus on originality and readability.
We don’t want to develop content that is boring and packed with keywords. We create content that has the appropriate amount of keywords occurring naturally in a piece of engaging writing. This is actually something that Google encourage and you will benefit greatly from our approach.
Yes, entirely. In most cases we will naturally have to do a certain amount of research before developing your content, particularly if you’re in an industry that we are unfamiliar with. In this case we will read up on a given subject and come up with some ideas for a fresh article.
Naturally, there is a limitless amount of information on the internet and we almost certainly wont be the first to write about a subject. What is important is that the content is entirely unique, regardless of the subject. This is something that Google will recognise and reward you for.
There will be no copy and pasting, as we value your brand identity and will not permit you to be penalised for having duplicated content on your website.
The best way of differentiating between Internal and Inbound links is by thinking about a mailman in a big office building.
They will start the day by sorting through the inbound mail. These are letters that have come from elsewhere, to the company.
Following that they will then begin sorting out the Internal mail. These are letters that are being sent within the business. For example from Jeff in Marketing, to Sandra in Human Resources.
In relation to your website, an inbound link is a link coming from another website, through to yours. This is something that we deal with when building links for you. (Developing a unique article and publishing it on another reputable website, pointing back to a particular page on your website.
Internal links are gateways that connect different pages on your website. You could do this through a blog post about “the benefits of such and such” – and then link through to your services page for more information, etc.
Believe it or not, there is such a thing as having too many key words. It’s a bad habit that people can develop; constantly typing in their relevant target phrases because they’re desperate to rank for them and to be deemed appropriate in the eyes of Google’s bots.
At Feel Content, we recognise the importance of finding the optimum amount. We do this by allowing the keywords to occur naturally throughout a piece of writing. We will not squeeze keywords in the sentence for the sake of it. If it works, it works. It’s as simple as that.
The reason we find this to be the most effective way of developing content, is because it appears natural not only to the reader, but to Search Engines as well.
It is possible to be penalised for keyword congestion, so it is definitely best to avoid it at all costs!
A Meta Description is the text which appears below every single link in a Google search result. Meta Descriptions are underrated when it comes to how much they can influence a potential customer. If written properly they can provide clarity and extra detail. Poorly written ones risk confusing people or giving them a distrust for your site.
A clear and original Meta Description could well be the difference between a potential customer clicking through to your website, or rolling with a competitor of yours instead.
The organic results are what you will find when you type a search phrase into Google and are left with a list of links. Generally, the top 2 or 3 results are paid results which can be identified by the “Ad” next to the link itself. The companies that appear here have paid exclusively to rank for those particular keywords for a limited amount of clicks – where as the organic results will rank there permanently. (Unless they stop or slow down on their SEO, in which case their competitors may well overtake them, pushing them further down the organic rankings). This is why our approach is so powerful.
Onsite Content Development is related to what your audience sees when the click through to your website. Every website will already have some content on there, but very rarely is it optimised appropriately for a successful SEO campaign.
Onsite optimisation involves targeting a specific keyword (or set of keywords) for each individual page on your website. Each page then has to be fine-tuned, carefully placing the keywords throughout in an organic way. Keyword stuffing not only looks cheap and reads terribly, but Google will also penalise websites for using such terrible tactics.
Well-constructed content, rich with relevant keywords is vital when trying to improve your rankings with various Search Engines such as Google.
What we do is look at the content already on your website and transform it into a fine-tuned, optimised piece of writing. This content will not only convey all of the necessary information to your visitors, but it will work perfectly from an SEO perspective. This involves using the appropriate language, sentence length, formatting and structure.
Some people like to give us a brief guide and let us develop it in our own way, whereas other customers have a specific message that they would like to convey. Either way works perfectly well, what’s important to us is that the content is spot on, “Google friendly”, and meets your needs.
Yes and no, to put it bluntly. The thing with Content Writing and SEO as a whole; is that there is no physical product that you can hold in your hands. That is something that can put people off, particularly when paying for a service. Of course, we know that it works, and that we’ll be able to achieve what we set out to do – but it doesn’t happen over night.
Ultimately, Search Engine Optimisation is a marathon, and you have to be in it to win it. The more content you develop and the more links that you build; the greater your relevance and brand awareness will become. It takes time to pick up pace, though you will definitely experience an increase in traffic to your website if you are putting yourself out there.
What’s more is that by developing quality and engaging content; your conversion rates will be greater. If someone comes through to your website and there is a limited amount of information to be found, most people will go elsewhere.
If on the other hand, your website is well-optimised and you have a wealth of industry related information on your blog; then your target audience will be much more likely to convert into customers.
Because you feel that we’re the best fit for you and your business.
We won’t try and manipulate your decision. All we can tell you is that our writing is excellent, our services our professional and we’ll deliver in a timely fashion.
Here at Feel Content, we’re trying to be different. We want to be different by creating engaging content. Most of the drivel posted on the internet can be quite dry and boring, simply jam-packed with all of the relevant keywords. Not only does Google see through it, but the reader does too. We like to create a unique experience.
So why chose us? Because it feels right for you!
Content development is arguably one of the most important aspects of Search Engine Optimisation. Naturally, being a web content writing agency we are going to say that; but it’s the truth. It’s all very well having a stagnant website with plenty of nice pictures, but if you’ve very few keywords in there then your website will ultimately never rank well with Google.
Content Development is about continually posting information on the internet related to your industry. This includes Article Submissions, Blog Posts, Social Media Status Updates, Tweets, Product Pages, Reviews – but most important of all: your Onsite Content (text on the pages of your website).
You can never have too much writing! Regular blog posting for example, is not only a great way to engage with your customers and answer some of their frequently asked questions; but it’s also a highly effective way of telling Google that your business is relevant.
With every post that you write, every article that you submit, every tweet that you compose; your brand awareness grows. There is nothing quite as important in business today, than having rich, unique and intelligent content developed and shared in your interest.
Link building is a technique used in SEO in order to help build more authority for your website. It is essentially a voting system, whereby other websites link back to yours, the more links back the more Google feels that your business is relevant.
In relation to our services, we develop Article Submissions. These are unique, 500-750 word articles related to your industry. Within the text there will be a number of relevant “search phrases”, or “keywords” that you may be looking to rank higher for.
Let’s say, for example, you run an online store which exclusively deals with Organic Beauty Products. In this case we would write an article about the benefits of using Organic Skincare products. Or we may research and write up a detailed analysis on the dangers of using certain cosmetics if you have particularly delicate skin. This article will then be published on a reputable website, linking back to you.
The more links you have, the more relevant you become, the more likely you will rank higher than your competitors.
You’ll have definitely heard this buzz phrase before, but some of you may not be familiar with what it actually means and how important it is for your business.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a discipline focused on building your brand awareness and the visibility of your website online. It’s about pulling your website from the bottom of the pile and climbing the ladder to the very top of the rankings on various search engine websites such as Google.
Various SEO techniques are used to create more authority for your website, so that when people type in various “search phrases” or “keywords” your website will rank as highly as possible in the organic rankings.
Such techniques include Onsite-Optimisation, Link Building and Content Development.
There is so much more to SEO than just optimising your website in a way that search engines can digest. It’s about improving the user experience as well. This involves adding internal links where necessary and providing solutions in the form of clear and concise information related to the various search phrases you wish to rank for.
